Every year, thousands of pregnant women across the UK attend a routine ultrasound scan around 20 weeks. These scans are vital for checking how babies are developing — but sometimes, important conditions can be missed.
The FRAIYA Study is a new NHS-supported research trial testing whether AI (artificial intelligence) can help make these scans even better.
